Guardian Angel Program

Large/giant breed dogs, black dogs, senior dogs and dogs in need of rehabilitation are more difficult to find furever homes for. These dogs stay with us longer and there for cost us more to care for while they are with us. You can help us care for them though and make a difference in their lives!
While in our care all of our dogs are spayed/neutered upon intake. They are vaccinated, given rabies shot, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and put on a monthly heartworm preventative and given multi vitamins. After all of their vetting they go into a foster home or reside with one of the two founders where they are taught house manners, crate training, basic obedience and potty training. This is basic care if they are healthy when they come into NNBPR. These expenses are recovered via their adoption fees. If they have additional medical expenses it can be costly.
In order to help lower their adoption fees for potential adopters you can become a guardian angel for them. You can pick one of the dogs we have available for adoption and give a reoccurring monthly donation to help with their reoccurring expenses such as heartworm preventatives, vitamins, food or any medical treatments they might require or you can give a one time donation.
If you would like to donate you can reach out to us at nanooknakodasbigpawrescue@gmail.com or 325 261 3849 to discuss a reoccurring monthly donation or a one time donation. All donations are tax deductible.
